To me, it was better than the first Equestria Girls movie, but NOWHERE near Rainbow Rocks. I wasn't sure if there was a "mane antagonist" in the movie and I'm surprised they didn't expand on some of the characters from Crystal Prep that came to the Friendship Games. Also, I didn't think it had many high points as RR did (Taco Tuesday, Maud, and Under Our Spell, to name a few.) Though I will say, the final battle was intimidating, I wish they either would've done more with it or let Twi win (though that would've been highly unlikely.) 

Overall, pretty descent. Good, but not great. I'd give it 7.5 Pinkie Pies out of 10 cupcakes. X3
